Terms of use
Last updated: October 5, 2026.
Who can use it
You must be at least 13 to use arkadash. By using the app you agree to these terms.
Your account
You can sign in anonymously, with an email code, or with Apple. Keeping your device secure is up to you. An anonymous account lives only on that phone until you save it with email or Apple.
The rules: zero tolerance for objectionable content
arkadash exists so two friends can keep track of time together. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. These are not allowed:
- harassment, bullying, hate speech and threats,
- sexual content,
- illegal content,
- spam,
- impersonation,
- logging fake hangouts to pressure someone.
Confirmation, reports and blocking
Every pending record needs the other person's confirmation, and declining is silent: they aren't notified. The app has tools to report and block people. We review reports within 72 hours.
We may remove content and suspend or delete accounts that break these rules.
Your content stays yours
What you enter remains yours. You grant us only a limited license to operate the service (storing it, showing it to the other person in your pair, calculating points).
Points, meter, badges
Points, the meter and badges have no monetary value. There is no ranking between friends.
The service is provided "as is"
arkadash is provided "as is" and features may change. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for damages arising from use of the service is limited.
Leaving
You can stop using arkadash and delete your account anytime (Me → Your data → Delete all my data). More about data in the privacy policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction. This doesn't limit any mandatory consumer rights you have.
Apple
Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app. The standard App Store end-user license agreement (EULA) also applies.
